The Patterson, Toowong – Sustainability Management Plan

Project:      The Patterson, Toowong – Sustainability Management Plan
Client:          Mosaic Property Group
Architect:   Rothelowman
Value:           $72 million

The Patterson, located on a rare, riverside location just minutes from Brisbane’s CBD and designed in partnership with Rothelowman, one of Australia’s most progressive architecture firms, will establish a new residential benchmark for Toowong, and a lasting legacy for Brisbane.

The 16-level development in Brisbane’s inner-west, boasting an extensive array of amenity, further elevates the living experience to an entirely new level, establishing The Patterson as Brisbane’s most exclusive new address.  Residents will be afforded a range of exceptional rooftop recreation spaces, including an infinity-edge pool, fire pit and private dining, that capitalises on priceless, panoramic views of the Brisbane River, Mount Coot-Tha and the city skyline.  Health and wellness needs are considered with a state-of-the-art gymnasium, while a wine room, ground floor café, library and concierge service complete the impressive suite.  Abundantly rich in lifestyle and convenience amenity, and within short reach of Brisbane’s major attractions, Toowong delivers an ideal blend of energy and relaxation – with The Patterson at the heart of it all.

Due for completion in mid-2022, The Patterson is set right by the Brisbane River, Bicentennial Bike Path, Toowong Village, the new $450 million Toowong Town Centre and the planned Toowong to West End Green Bridge.  It is also in close proximity to Queensland University of Technology, Wesley Hospital and Indooroopilly Shopping Centre.

MDA Consulting Engineers were pleased to be engaged by Mosaic Property Group to provide a Sustainability Management Plan (SMP).  The SMP provides an overview of sustainable design initiatives that are proposed for The Patterson by Mosaic.  The Plan will be used to guide the design and provide a benchmark to achieve best practice with reference to a recognised environment rating system.

This Sustainability Management Plan covers the following key sustainability elements:

  • Natural Environment – Ecosystems
  • Waste Minimisation
  • Energy Efficiency
  • Building Materials
  • Water Efficiency
  • Community
