St Mary’s Catholic College is a co-educational Years 7-12 Secondary College owned and administered by St Mary’s Parish, Casino NSW. For over 130 years St Mary’s has proudly provided students from all around the Richmond Valley area with an holistic education. St Mary’s Catholic College encourages all students to become lifelong learners and offers impressive facilities, including state-of-the-art Agricultural and Trade Training Centres.
The new Science and Classroom building, with agile learning spaces that connect to each other via large sliding glass doors, allow for collaborative learning opportunities. All learning spaces open into a generous Learning Commons which flows from ground floor to first floor via a learning stair that doubles as a tiered learning space during school hours, a social space during recess and lunch, an assembly area, a presentation area and a drama and performance area. The building will be ready for Term 1 2022.
MDA Consulting Engineers were pleased to be engaged by DRA Architects for the Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Lift services design components, NCC Section J services, and Essential Energy Point of Connection Level 3 design for the project.
