Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort and Spa is the Gold Coast’s most luxurious and unique hotel, raising the bar and taking ‘five-star’ to new levels. Offering breathtaking views of the Gold Coast Hinterland, Surfers Paradise skyline and the Pacific Ocean, the luxurious 28 level resort features 329 rooms, an opulent Presidential Suite which is the epitome of unsurpassed five-star elegance, new-look front entry and lobby area with lavish rugs and furniture, luxurious lobby lounge bar, extravagant Ball Room, fully enclosed Garden Terrace, lagoon pool area with tropical fish, marquee and deck area, dedicated events floor which is state-of-the-art, an all-day dining interactive restaurant Citrique, and world-class Day Spa.
After undergoing an extensive $20 million refurbishment in 2011, this refurbishment project of existing building elements will be delivered in 2 phases and will include front of house areas, Public Spaces and Guest Rooms.
SHAPE commissioned MDA Consulting Engineers to provide the following building services design components:
