Harbour Shores, designed as an exclusive ‘Village of Villages’, is the last remaining large-scale, greenfield waterfront development site on the Gold Coast.

Offering a community heart and holistic, sustainable and resort inspired lifestyle, with public open green space, social gathering opportunities, food, beverage and retail spaces, Harbour Shores features a range of high amenity and facilities, including:

  • Tennis courts, multiple swimming pools and resident facilities
  • Public space including park and children’s playground
  • Retail and commercial space
  • Private and casual marina berths
  • Public waterfront walkway

With more than 1.4km of water frontage, the site has the widest canal frontage on the coast, providing recreation and wellbeing opportunities, and boating access to the Broadwater and Pacific Ocean.  Opposite Harbour Town Premium Outlets Gold Coast, Harbour Shores capitalises on its high amenity location, with public transport, significant retail, dining, entertainment and boating facilities close by.

Sustainability and community are key aspects of the masterplan, which includes a mix of apartments, waterfront villas and penthouses, and will eventually be home to more than 4,500 residents.  The development is targeting a 5-star Green Star Certified community through a range of environmentally focused initiatives, including energy and water conservation and resident wellbeing programs, and will generate up to 5,000 jobs over the next 10 years.

MDA Consulting Engineers provided the following building services components of the project:

  • Master Plan and Southern Precinct
  • Master Planning of Master Lot Subdivision consisting of six (6) Lot Community Title Scheme (Southern Precinct only)
  • Preliminary Approval for entire project (Northern and Southern Precincts)
  • Preparation of EOI Documentation for Embedded Energy Services to the Development
  • Development Approval for Stage 1 consisting of:
    • Reconfiguration of Lot to twelve (12) development lots
    • Building 2 – Sales and Café
    • Building 3 – Sixty-six (66) Apartments
    • Building 4 – Five (5) Villas
    • Building 5 – Recreation Facility
    • Building 6 – Fifty-two (52) Apartments
    • Building 7 – Nine (9) Villas
